As we all know, these days in the lovely 'hot' and 'sunny' UK we suffer from flues, migraines, our annoying siblings and the nerve-racking traffic jams on the M25 when we try to visit aunt Margaret (not Thatcher
) on the other side of London which can sometimes.... maybe most of the times cause us to have a high temperature or fever because our head is about to explode. However, as much as i would love to express my self about my siblings (which would probably end up with them buried 5 ft under the ground and me in jail) the fever I'm talking about is the election fever that has haunted humanity since 2000BC when the Greeks invented democracy up to now in E-sim!
As much as i would love to be optimistic and not destroy anyones' hopes of becoming president of the virtual UK.... I have to say that... without implying that you will lose....Who am I kidding? * SPOILER ALERT * We have a winner ladies and gentlemen! The new government appears to be surprisingly enough ( considering the fact that the best we could come up with as a nation was David Cameron and Margaret Thatcher) an intelligent and skilful government, and no... for once in my life i am not lying to myself to try and persuade me that voting for conservatives was not humanities' worst idea after dropping a nuclear bomb in Hiroshima... The article titled Presidential Manifesto published by the independant appears to captivate the interest of the British public and was certainly persuasive enough to declare a pre-election winner and as from today, the new government was also announced! Nevertheless, my job as a good journalist is to criticise you to the point where you wish you never became president in order to satisfy the opinions of every typical British citizen that is currently eating fish and chips while watching east enders on the telly as they wait for the Kardashians..... So lets get started Pres! (short for President)
Politics is my second name
Whilst my second name ( for those who don't know American its the equivalent of a Surname) is Jones, politics is a matter that truly touches my cold heart and has affected the UK for thousands of centuries, frankly enough its also one of the reasons we never score anything above 10 points in Eurovision! It's just everywhere! Therefore, as a new member i have decided to create the RealNews to keep us updated with our economy, government and external politics. So what is new you ask? Well, in case you haven't noticed that we are in a state of complete anarchy and that our country ranking number exceeds our population number, we are having an Election!!!!! The new favourite and most certain till now winner for the presidential seat is
tommy1boy . Reliable sources suggest that he is a big player in Europa and in antithesis to normal politicians he knows what he is doing.... or so i hope or else e-sim will start having to rank the UK in the countries' statistics section using standard form... The so called CP's or else known as the prime minister and his government have been decided and we are awaiting for 2 more names to be announced. The government will form with tommy1boy taking the lead and the vice CP to be announced. As a democratic kingdom official reports from the independant say that we will have a Minister of Defence, a Vice Minister of Defence, a Minister of Finance, a Minister of Home Affairs, a Junior Minister and a Minister of Foreign affairs which according to our future president will actually form alliances with other nations..... plot twist, i know right? Thats not your everyday Britain is it then mate? Anyway... moving on to the names we have 
Safewater running for the position of minister of Finance, 
ArchDukeJohn running for the position of Minister of Defence, 
Sidespace for the position of Vice Minister of Defence, 
justinn as our Junior Minester and last but not least 
varofakis as a minister of Foreign Afairs, who lets hope does better than he did back in the summer with economics where he nearly blew up the eurozone to the air and half of the planet with it . The names for the Vice CP and Minister of Home Affairs are to be confirmed but I'm sure that we will have a confirmation by the end of the day!
Mission impossible
So this in a nutshell concludes our future government and the people who will hopefully revive the British Empire from the long forgotten ashes of history. However, things will not be easy and we are now going to a have a look at some serious challenges that the government has to face from day 1. To begin with our territorial occupation in Northern Ireland is an issue that will kick on straight away in the negotiations table. Unlike the real world where the UN and NATO fundamentally exist to prevent WWIII between neighbours such as the UK and Ireland, there is nothing stopping the virtual Irish government from attacking and claiming territories from the UK, and whilst under normal circumstances i wouldn't fear because i know that my soldiers will protect me.... in this case i don't even have an army so i am pretty concerned about my survival @MinistryofDefence do something about this please!!! Nevertheless, it is worth to mention that our Pres did state that there will be a creation of an army from day one so rest assured everyone
! The reason i am touching the issue of Northern Ireland is because i saw an article by The irish definition that captivated my interest. The narrator stated that the actions of the UK were uncalled for and that it is essential that the territory is under Irish rule, it will be interesting to see the position that our Pres will hold and how our new government will react should Ireland touch upon the issue immediately. Finally, it will be interesting to observe how the new government will handle our Oil exports considering the fact that we have the largest Oil export in the continent!!! Will it be used as a mean of useful and clever alliances along with trade of materials such as iron from N. France, stone from N. Spain and diamonds from N. Netherlands or will it result to aggressive negotiations thus making us a target for invasion considering the fact that we are the only country that can meet supply with demand in terms of oil? @BritishGovernment

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
