Interview With Jersey - Leader of the Economic and Labour Party!
Who are you inside the economic and labour party?
“I am officially the party leader and unofficially the spokesman for the business owners and working class of eUK. I like to think I speak the same language as all company owners as a Wholegrain salesmen based in Wales (http://antica.e-sim.org/company.html?id=1157)
What do you think about politics at this moment?
“In general I think we have a really great Congress that is seeking to secure our country on the map. Across the globe, we have a swirl of personalities from pacifist leaders to war-mongering maniacs. Our president has done an awesome job defusing volatile situations, such as the France issue. Internally we will always face politicians with a difference of opinion of policy. What matters is how that opinion is displayed. Also, to be successful in any political situation, we must be open to explore paths we didn't think possible, utilize resources at our disposal, and to appeal to the masses. In all, we have a great political system in place to help shape the first month of eUK on this server.”
What is your achievements right now as a Citizen of the UK?
"Previously, I only played on Secura. I am a successful Iron business owner and have tried (unsuccessfully) to run for Congress a few times. On this server, I enjoy the Congress role because it allows me to speak up for all the companies that may feel we need change on our market.
Also, in Congress, I have served in an unofficial role as a foreign ambassador. Cooperation between powerful countries is key in the global power struggle. Helping with that dialog has been a pleasure and an honor."
What do you believe is the future for the Economic and Labour Party?
“That is a great question. I see the Economic & Labour Party being the voice of our free economy. The members of the party work hard to keep our economy moving in a positive direction. I encourage them to own a company, make profit and to dictate market prices without government assistance. I hope that the party continues to progress and ensure that UK goods stay accessible to all citizens. With or without me as the party leader. I want everyone to have financial freedom so when it is time to defend our country, no one is worried about how the wars will be financed.”
Will you as head of the party want to petition to become the Minister of Finance or Envoy of Small Businesses position in the cabinet?
“If it is the will of the president to bestow that honor upon me, I would accept. However, I do not want to step on anyone's toes. As a congress member, I am willing to serve in any capacity that will move our country forward. I do have some financial related ideas that may boost our economy and I will share them with anyone in the Finance role.”
Soon there will be the presidential campaign starting, will you as already being a leader of a party and having the experience as a Congressmen, put yourself as a candidate for the Presidential Elections?
“That is a tricky question. While I think I should "have a crack at it" so to say, I think Tommy1boy is doing a fantastic job and deserves another term. You may even call this an endorsement. In the future, I do see myself running for president but at this time, I think I would be of better service to our great nation as a Congress member and leader of the Economic & Labour Party. Many people display leadership qualities but only a few really have a knack for putting them to use. I'll take this time to learn from Tommy's guidance and build on that. In the future, when I am president, history will have a very hard time repeating itself because I will have learned from the CPs of the past.”

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
